Chinoiserie

Chinoiserie (from French - chinoiserie) is the use of motifs and stylistic techniques of medieval Chinese art in European painting, arts and crafts, costume, design of garden and park ensembles of the XVIII century. Chinoiserie is a stylistic direction, developed as a branch of the Rococo style.
